Not sure if there are too many healers, but like wow you always respec your trees between dps and heals as long as you take the right advanced class (can't change your AC) Play what sounds fun to you an we can worry about gaps later and respec trees to cover them. They have 3. You may want to review sith inquisitor, bounty hunter, and imperial agent. Each has advantages and disadvantages. None of them are a direct comparison to any of the wow healers directly so take a look :)
